The Clean 9 (C9) from Forever Living is an expertly devised 9 day cleansing plan designed to kick start a healthier way of living. The C9 has benefited from the addition of Free Foods in the plan since it’s previous relaunch in 2014, and now the programme has been improved again with more guidance on Free Foods, what to eat and how often you can have them whilst sticking to the plan.
Fruits Veggies and Free Foods
Free foods are foods which are low in calories and provide vitamins and minerals, phytonutrients and fibre. The newly designed booklet which comes with the C9 pack splits your free foods between one serving foods, two serving foods, and unlimited foods which are so low in calories that the serving size is not specified.
By reaching for these free foods if you feel peckish on the C9, or even if you just want that feeling of eating something on days 1 and 2 of the programme, you are more likely to succeed and stay on the wagon for the full 9 days.
Sticking to the Plan
The secret to a successful C9 is first proper preparation, which is covered in my post 5 ways to prepare for the Clean 9, keeping focused on your goals and reasons for following the programme, and don’t beat yourself up if you eat food or have a slip up whilst on the C9, just pick yourself up, refocus, and follow the rest of the plan as best you can. Why are normal onions not included on the free food list on Clean 9?

The list is not meant to be an exhaustive list just suggestions. It needs to be low GI foods so you can within reason sub other foods in which follow the same nutritional value. I hope that helps.

the one or two servings foods, are you only allowed one from the list?
You can have one item from the one serving list in a day or 2 items from the 2 serving list in a day. There are also the unlimited list items too.
