The Sun has come out!

I am really starting to lose track of how long we’ve been working from home now.  I think it might be 3 weeks tomorrow but it could be wrong – it’s feeling almost normal already which is very odd.

What is lovely is to see the sun is out – and although it is early April I am seeing lots of pics of friends and family looking a bit pink in the face.  It is important to remember that even here in the UK the sun can be stronger than you think and catch you out.

So here is a lovely picture of me in my back garden holding my Aloe Sunscreen, which is super kind to my skin, as it contains inner aloe leaf, as well as being water-resistant and has an SPF of 30.IMG_20200405_130022

It’s a good job it is water-resistant as although we are being careful and keeping a social distance from our neighbours, they happened to start jet washing their garden trampoline as my daughter and I sat out in the sun so we had an impromptu shower!

I know we are really lucky to have a garden where we can sit out in the fresh air – and many people aren’t as lucky – but please take on board the current advice and don’t drive to your local park, beach or beauty spot to enjoy the sunshine – if we all did that then the government will stop everyone from going out to exercise and the actions of the few will spoil it for the sensible many.

How are you coping with the getting out in the sunshine?  Please share your pictures with me, and if you haven’t managed to get any sunscreen at your local stores there is plenty in stock on my online shop – just click buy forever living and order for direct shipping to your home.

Stay Safe and Stay Home..

Coronavirus Update

You can see from my previous posts that’s it’s been a while since I blogged in here.   Since I joined 4Networking 3 years ago I have been concentrating on my other business, Silicon Bullet, where I help unconfident bookkeepers to use Xero and Sage software better.  I also got involved with running the networking meetings, which takes a fair amount of time, so my Forever Business took a back seat.

That’s the beauty of a business with Forever though.  You can pick it up and put it down as it suits you.

So why am I back blogging again now?

Well, I thought this would be a great place to record some thoughts and feelings whilst in lockdown, and let’s face it we don’t know how long we will be here, so any and all income streams I have need to be explored.

It’s funny, that as I have put my Forever business down I rarely sell any products. It’s something that if you don’t talk about it to people then you won’t find new customers, and those you had tend to drift away too. Well actually it’s not funny at all.  This is not an easy business, you need to work at it, and if you don’t work at it you won’t earn any money from it.

But in the last 2 weeks, customers have come out of the woodwork to order from me – and the most popular product is the hand soap.  With washing your hands so much some soaps can be so drying and not kind to the hands at all, so I’ve sold double figures of hand soaps in just over a week.  We also have stock at head office and deliveries can be made direct so there is no danger of spreading the virus.  It’s not megga bucks but right now every penny counts, and the customers who contacted me couldn’t get what they wanted at local shops – so everyone wins.

So how are you coping with the your ‘lockdown’ and ‘social distancing’?  Do leave me a message and connect and let’s all help each other through.
